Many NBA analysts and fans have spent years debating whether the greatest of all time is either Jordan or LeBron.

Brady, 47, made his position clear as he made an appearance alongside LeBron, 40, at the Fanatics Fest in New York on Saturday evening.

He insisted that the Los Angeles Lakers star is the “greatest ever”.

He said: “With the intensity that’s been on him, the Olympics, the different teams that he’s been on, he’s always done things the right way.

“He’s always risen above all the noise and BS and continued to deliver.

“So you’re witnessing the greatest ever, and I hope you guys all appreciate that.”

His comments are sure to raise Jordan’s eyebrows as the pair have been getting closer in recent times.

Brady and Jordan have appeared at a number of the same events, and the former NFL quarterback has also spoken highly of the retired basketballer.

He previously said: “Michael Jordan was my… everyone wanted to be like Mike.

“So like, even when I see Mike today, I’m still like, ‘That’s Michael Jordan right there, you know’

“And I just think he’s the coolest guy and you know I love his determination.”

Both Jordan and LeBron have enjoyed hugely successful careers in the NBA.

Jordan, 62, claimed six NBA titles during his illustrious career between 1984 and 2003.

He starred at the Chicago Bulls for the majority of his career and featured alongside legends such as Scottie Pippen and Dennis Rodman.

LeBron has played for the likes of the Miami Heat, the Cleveland Cavaliers as well as the Lakers.

He won two titles with the Heat and one more at each of the other two teams.

Meanwhile, Lebron recently dropped a huge retirement hint ahead of his 23rd season in the NBA.

He is heading into the final guaranteed year of his contract with the Lakers, though he holds a player option for the 2025-26 season.

That option, valued at $52.6 million, requires a decision by June 29.

If James decides not to opt in, he would become a free agent.
