Fox NFL Sunday featured the cast of host Curt Menefee, Bradshaw, Howie Long, Michael Strahan, and Rob Gronkowski in the studio.
The former Patriots quarterback was calling the New York Giants vs Washington Commanders game.
However, before he gave any insight on the matchup, he made sure to take a shot at Gronkowski, which Fox posted on X.
Despite being asked about the Giants’ QB situation, he started off by ribbing his former teammate about his punctuality.
Brady joked, “Can I say something first: I’m glad Gronk was on time today.
“Usually in the first few weeks of the season, he’s a little bit off. Glad he was here early.
“I’ve got to keep you on your toes over there.
“You took a lot of shots at me over the years. I’m coming back.”
But it was all taken in good jest, with Brady and Gronk laughing about their partnership.
Gronkowski fired back, “You know when you throw me that ball, I always come through clutch.”
The former QB appreciatively said, “You know that baby. I saw that in real time.”
After retiring from the NFL, Brady signed a 10-year, $375 million contract with Fox.
He came under intense scrutiny in his new role.
Some people criticized his play-calling and wanted him to do more.
He also owns shares in the Las Vegas Raiders, which led to restrictions.

And since his first year, rules have been relaxed to allow Brady to attend NFL production meetings.
One fan said, “Not hating on Tom, but if you have any ownership in an NFL team, you shouldn’t be allowed to have this job.”
Another commented, “Do all team owners have access to other teams’ players? Seems like more rule-bending for Tommy.”
A third wrote, “Poor decision. And he’s not that good doing color anyway.”
Despite the criticisms, Gronkowski backs Brady to keep improving as a pundit.
The former tight end says he works harder than anyone else, and having played with him for 11 years, he would know.
They combined for nine seasons at the Patriots, culminating in three Super Bowls, before Gronk followed Brady to the Bucs, where they picked up their fourth title.
