TRADER Joe’s has confirmed that shoppers will be able to access some of its locations for Labor Day today.
Many major retailers will be open for a limited time to celebrate the holiday, including the likes of Aldi, but some, like Costco, won’t even open.

Labor Day falls on the first Monday of September every year, and as a federal holiday, it causes massive disruption to retail chains across the country.
Shoppers will be able to rely on big names like Trader Joe’s and Aldi, both of which will be open for a shorter time today.
Aldi’s website confirms this and advises customers to use the store locator to check the opening hours.
Trader Joe’s is operating a similar policy to Aldi and will be running normal store hours for the majority of its locations.
If a typical Trader Joe’s is open from 8 a.m. until 9 p.m. on Mondays, you can safely assume this will be the case today.
However, it is always wise to check the hours online or by calling in to speak to an employee.

COSTCO CLOSURE
Costco is closed for Labor Day, meaning you will not be able to shop there until Tuesday.
The huge retailer will turn you away if you try to enter a warehouse, and any online orders made today will not be processed until tomorrow.
Shoppers are advised to steer clear of Costco on Labor Day and for the upcoming holidays, which will also cause disruption.
This includes Thanksgiving, Christmas and New Year’s Day.

There are plenty of other big names in retail that will be remaining open on Labor Day.
Walmart is sticking around for Labor Day, but will be running on limited hours.
