TRADER Joe’s shoppers are heartbroken after finding out the store has discontinued their favorite sweet treat.

The ice cream was a fan-favorite for years and many were delighted when it rolled out each summer.
The vanilla ice cream is filled with rainbow sprinkles and cake pieces for the ultimate snack.
In fact, it had a whole Reddit thread dedicated to the buy.
One wrote on the Trader Joe’s forum: “$3.79. I love birthday cake ice cream and TJ’s celebration cake gelato is the only kind worth buying from a grocery store, in my opinion.
“If you’ve tried it, how did you like it?”
And it seemed many shoppers agreed claiming it was one of their best flavors yet.
One person wrote: “Finally tried it out this year and let me just say that if this wasn’t seasonal, it would get banned from my freezer for being too delicious.”
Another commented: “OMG why did you tell me about this, I just tried it after seeing your post, so gooddddd sad I only got one.”
“Tried it for the first time this week and LORD it blew my expectations! Absolutely amazing,” penned a third.
However, they’ll be disappointed as it seems to not be returning to shelves this year.
Taking to Facebook, one devastated shopper said: “I have heartbreaking news to report… Celebration Gelato is confirmed as discontinued.”
FANS LEFT DEVASTATED
The store has also had fans begging to bring back a daily essential.
The missing item is the Trader Joe’s Organic Super Bread, a hearty, seed-studded loaf that fans say was a must-have in their weekly grocery haul.
One desperate fan took to Facebook to plead: “Please bring back Superbread!”
Packed with organic grains like wheat, rye, rolled oats and millet, the beloved loaf was known for its dense, chewy texture and nutritional boost, thanks to its high fiber and protein content.
But now it’s vanished from shelves across the country and loyal customers aren’t handling it well.
“I feel your pain,” one Reddit user replied to a shopper searching for the bread.
“It’s such a bummer.”

Another said: “Last two times I was at my Trader Joe’s I couldn’t find the Super Bread and one of the employees did a search for me.
“It appears they’re temporarily unable to order more – not clear why, but such a bummer.”
One user speculated the bread is on a production delay, with no clear time frame for its return.
And while that may leave a tiny crumb of hope, regulars know the chain has a long-standing habit of pulling products off the shelves permanently.
