Trader Joe’s tells shopper its must have summer essential is ‘no longer available’ – but Amazon has an alternative

A TRADER Joe’s shopper has been left disappointed after discovering that his favourite product has been discontinued.

Dan took to Facebook to inform others of the sad news, as he shared a picture of the bottle, and wrote alongside it: “Was told yesterday that the aloe is no longer available.”

Someone else pointed out that you can get very similar products on “Amazon” or “any drug store”.

“I know! Just bummed (and surprised) because I liked this one!” Dan replied.

And he wasn’t the only one mad that the product is no longer sold.

“The main problem I have with some aloe veras is the smell,” one wrote.

“This one is an excellent price, the odor is fine and it’s not so greasy.

“I’ve used it on my body and in my hair and the results are very good!! Highly recommend this!!!”

“The best thing for itchy dry skin, sunburn pain & itch, etc that I’ve ever used in my entire life,” another added.

“I would walk 100 miles to get this stuff, but fortunately I can buy it online! Closest Trader Joe’s is 100 miles away.”

“It’s literally under $5 where I live,” someone else commented.

“The ingredients are simple, I don’t find it to be sticky, and I think it’s really helpful for acne, sunburn, and general dryness,” another wrote.

“Would recommend! I don’t think there is a strong or unpleasant smell.

“The container is easy to use and the packaging is cute.”

“This aloe gel is SO GOOD!” someone else agreed.

“I struggled horribly with razor burn/rash after shaving and this would immediately cool my legs down after I showered.”

As another concluded: “This is the only aloe I’ll buy! It’s 99% aloe, no garbage added.

“Aloe doesn’t need menthol or green colorant added, like all the brands in the supermarket and CVS.

” This stuff is clear and natural, and is the only one this pale, sensitive skin girl trusts on her sunburns.”

However, if you can’t get your hands on some of the Trader Joe’s gel – as it’s apparently a seasonal product – there are alternatives on Amazon which are around the $6.99 mark.
