The Kansas City Chiefs‘ star tight end’s announcement comes after making an eye-opening 25-pound body transformation.

Kelce didn’t appear at the Chiefs’ voluntary OTAs last week.
Questions surrounded the 10-time Pro Bowler about whether he will practice during mandatory minicamps, which begin on Tuesday.
However, those questions were answered as ESPN’s Jeremy Fowler reported over the weekend that Kelce will attend the workouts and show off a “slimmer” physique.
“The Chiefs knew that Kelce was going to be gone this week,” Fowler said on Saturday.
“He is expected back for minicamp, he’ll address the media and be back on the field, all that fun stuff.
Fowler then made the revelation about Kelce’s weight, saying that “he has lost about 25 pounds this offseason.
“He will debut a bit of a slimmer look – he has told people close to him he has lost about 25 pounds this offseason,” Fowler said.
“He played a little heavier in 2024, it was sort of a thing. He vowed to change it and he has.
“As we have talked about before, this could be the last dance here for him, mid-30s, still a productive player, they want to go to him on third down but declining a little bit.
“So he is trying to be slimmer and has gone hardcore this offseason to make it work in what could be his final season.”
Kelce has just one year left on his Chiefs contract.
The three-time Super Bowl champion almost quit in February after his squad lost 40-22 to the Philadelphia Eagles in the big game in New Orleans.
Kelce posted career lows in numerous statistical categories during the regular season and recorded just four receptions for 39 yards in Super Bowl 59.
But the 35-year-old decided to return for his 13th season in the NFL and has been training hard in the offseason in Florida.
Kelce did lay low in the spotlight for a good part of the offseason with his music icon of a girlfriend, Taylor Swift.

The pair did return to the limelight last week, however, as they both enjoyed date nights and even a Stanley Cup Final game last week.
The Chiefs will begin their quest to make it to the Super Bowl for a fourth straight year this fall.
They will take on the division rival Los Angeles Chargers in Brazil for a Week 1 battle on September 5.
