DONALD Trump took a subtle swipe at Prince Harry in his speech at tonight’s state banquet.
Speaking before the esteemed dignitaries, the President heaped praise on the King and the Royal family galore.

“This is truly one of the highest honours of my life, I have such respect for you and such respect for your country for many decades,” he said.
Trump added that King Charles had preserved “the glorious and unique character of this kingdom”.
But for all the showering of compliments on the Crown, the President’s comments have also been interpreted as an off-handed dig at Prince Harry.
When praising Prince William, Trump said that the King had raised a “remarkable son”.
This comment seemed to ignore Charles’ second son Prince Harry, who has stepped back from his Royal duties to lead a new life in America.
But the moment was fleeting, and Trump continued his warm words for his hosts.
The President said the William is “going to have an unbelievable success in the future”.
He added: “Melania and I are delighted to visit again with Prince William and to see Her Royal Highness Princess Catherine so radiant and so healthy, so beautiful. It’s really a great honour.”
The King himself did not shy away from praising his guest.
Both heads of state paid homage to the special relationship between Britain and America.
Charles joked: “Had the media succeeded in the 1970s in their own attempt at deepening the special relationship, I myself might have been married off within the Nixon family.”
The King added: “Today, as tyranny once again threatens Europe, we and our allies stand together in support of Ukraine, to deter aggression and secure peace.
He said: “Our countries have the closest defence, security and intelligence relationship ever known.”
The King also commended Trump’s purported motivation to resolve global conflicts.
Trump echoed this sentiment, saying the the term special relationship “does not begin to do it justice”.
The President is the first ever US leader to receive a second state visit invitation to the United Kingdom.
Acknowledging this, Trump said that his second royal welcome to Britain was a “first” – and would also likely be his last.
But in a moment of levity, he joked “I hope it is actually”.
