KILLER clowns, lava demons, and more terrifying figures are lurking in every corner of Universal Orlando Resort’s newest attractions.
Guests can expect to be terrified by 10 all-new haunted houses, along with nightmare-inducing jump scares hidden all around the park in Orlando, Florida.

Universal’s annual Halloween Horror Nights returned to Orlando on August 29 and will unleash terror on the park until November 2.
This season’s attractions have already garnered praise from horror fans who were shocked by the twists and turns that seem to have leveled up from years past.
People staff writer Jen Juneau wrote, in part, “This year, HHN feels like it has ushered itself into a new era of being able to perfectly straddle the old and the new.”
This year, the iconic horror takeover has 10 brand new haunted houses that may be called the best lineup yet — and all of them are inspired by horror and pop culture.
HAUNTED HOUSES
Guests will be forced to survive in the Five Nights at Freddy’s haunted house, which is based on the horror game that came out in 2014.
To make it out of the creepy pizzeria-themed rooms, visitors have to race through dark corridors, where they’ll come face-to-face with the supernatural.
Next, Art the Clown from the Terrifier series will chase guests throughout his gruesome Funhouse.
“Maybe for the first time since I was 17, I was scared out of my mind to go into a house,” Juneau said about the attraction.
On top of trying to escape the killer clown, visitors will also witness some stomach-churning kills from the low-budget horror franchise.
Juneau said the bone-chilling scenes are fully sensory, complete with disgusting smells and the choice between a wet or dry path.

In another haunted house inspired by a horror franchise, the infamous Friday the 13th films will be channeled in an attraction called Jason Universe, named after the series’ petrifying antagonist.
People will come face-to-face with serial killer Jason Voorhees, wearing his notorious hockey mask, in Jason Universe, set at a summer camp.
WWE fans will also see some familiar faces as WWE Presents: The Horrors of the Wyatt Sicks will dive into one of the most disturbing groups in wrestling history.
The haunted houses take an action-packed turn by paying homage to Prime Video’s post-apocalyptic show Fallout, which is based on the popular video game.

Visitors will step into danger in the heart-stopping wasteland, where they’ll encounter classic scenes and characters from the popular series.
BONE-CHILLING MAZES
In more original haunted houses from the creators of the intellectual properties, the “outlaws from hell” are unleashed, according to Universal.
The western-themed attraction features lava demons melting everything in their path and chasing guests.
And if lava demons aren’t hot enough for you, you can go to the underworld in the Grave of Flesh, which Juneau said makes you feel like you’re being buried alive.

For a more historical horror story, guests can visit El Artista: A Spanish Haunting to see art possess a tortured soul in 19th-century Spain.
In Dolls: Let’s Play Dead, guests are hunted by life-sized toys that have been destroyed by a disturbed little girl.
Finally, monsters are the center of Gálkn: Monsters of the North, where guests can only survive by escaping the belly of the beast.
The nightmare fuel doesn’t stop with the haunted houses.
Scare zones on the street make it so visitors don’t have anywhere to hide in the entire 1,291-acre theme park.
While fog rolls through the air, terrifying creatures like vampires, zombies, and chainsaw-wielding carnies are ready to jump out and horrify guests.
Tickets for Universal’s Halloween Horror Nights are available on the park’s website. It requires a different ticket from the theme park entry.
