Actress Vaidehi Nair, who plays the role of Sandhya in Star Plus’ supernatural show Jaadu Teri Nazar – Dayan Ka Mausam, produced by 4 Lions Films, has moved out of the show. She played the role of Sandhya Pratap Singh, the sister of the protagonist Vihaan (Zayn Ibad Khan).
When the show took a leap, Vaidehi decided to call it quits and leave the show. Presently, she is looking at challenging work where she can explore herself more as a performer.
Vaidehi says, “The storyline which was told to us, did not work out that way. Sandhya did not get the weightage that was expected. But yes, this was a good experience, with me working non-stop. I am thankful to Star Plus and Gul Ma’am for envisioning me for the role. Now, I intend to do challenging roles, which have a graph and a good buildup. When I expressed my desire to look for different work, it was a mutual decision that happened.”
On moving ahead and looking for good work, Vaidehi says, “I want to do characters wherein I can showcase my talent. I want roles that will help me grow as a performer. Let’s see what comes my way now. Hoping for the best.”
Vaidehi has been part of TV shows Sirf Tum, Raazz Mahal, Brahmarakshas 2, Shiv Shakti – Tap Tyaag Tandav, Shrimad Ramayan, etc and has always looked to paly versatile roles.
