Vasudha, the Zee TV show produced by Arvind Babbal Productions, has seen engaging drama with Dev (Abhishek Sharrma) coming in front of Chandrika Singh Chauhan (Parineeta Borthakur) and Prabhat (Sachin Parikh) when Dev was reprimanded for his ugly work by Karanveer. Chandrika got a shocker to see her son being reduced to a mere delivery job guy. She got angry at Vasudha (Priya Thakur) and blamed her for her son’s downfall in life.
We wrote about Prabhat having an argument with Chandrika, in which he had a heart attack. We also wrote about him needing immediate surgery, with the risk of another attack being there. However, Prabhat refused to agree to his surgery, and cited the condition of Dev and Vasudha’s return to their house.
The upcoming episode will see Chandrika undertake a tough penance in the temple, where she will have to go round the temple on her knees, and also light diyas on her hands and climb the stairs of the temple and reach the altar. Dev and Vasudha will be a solid support system to Chandrika without her knowledge. While Dev will look for Chandrika’s safety, Vasudha will perform the responsibilities of the penance which a daughter-in-law has to undertake.

Vasudha is a compelling story that delves into the fascinating dynamics between two women from entirely different worlds – whose paths cross, leading to a clash of ideologies, temperaments and socioeconomic backgrounds, promising a narrative unlike any other on Indian television. Chandrika Singh Chauhan’s character is played by Nausheen Ali Sardar while Priya Thakur is seen in the titular role of Vasudha. Abhishek Sharma plays the lead Devansh Singh Chauhan. However, presently, Nausheen has been replaced by Parineeta Borthakur. The show is produced by Arvind Babbal Productions.
