WALMART is giving shoppers access to the biggest shows, movies and live events for free.
The retailer is throwing in Peacock’s ad-tier plan, Peacock Premium, for Walmart+ members starting September 15.

This lets Walmart members stream massive shows like Real Housewives, SNL and The Traitors.

It also means that members can access NFL, NBA, and Olympic coverage, all for less than buying the service directly.
The platform also has popular movie franchises listed, including Harry potter, Jurassic Park and John Wick.
In August, Peacock hiked its prices to $109.99 annually for its ad-tier service.
Walmart+ shoppers will get all of their normal perks, plus the streaming service on top for the unchanged $98 a year.
Up until now, Walmart+ shoppers have gotten access to Paramount+.
Going forward, Walmart members will be able to switch between the two every 90 days.
Deepak Maini, the senior vice president of Walmart+, said in a statement that having users switch between the two gives them the power to “customize”.
He explained: “The additional option of Peacock Premium adds even more value and more choice to our membership, without raising the price.
“By offering the ability to switch between two top-tier video streaming services, we’re empowering our members to customize their entertainment experience and enjoy significant savings.”
AMAZON BATTLE
This addition only intensifies the rivalry between Walmart and Amazon.
The two retail giants have been competing for years to gain control of the US e-commerce market.
Last week, Amazon announced that Peacock Premium Plus, the ad-free version of the service, would be available Prime Video for an additional fee.
