WALMART is offering free health screenings, immunizations and other health-related services at its 4,600 locations this Saturday.
The event will run from 10am to 2pm at all Walmart locations and will allow shoppers to check their blood pressure, BMI and glucose levels.

Walmart‘s wellness events have provided health screenings to more than five million Americans since 2014.
In a press release leading up to this year’s event on September 13, Walmart said that it only works with the best healthcare professionals.
It said: “Walmart pharmacists are among the most trusted healthcare providers in their communities.”
The comapny added in the release that it’s trying to provide accessible healthcare to communities.
This goes especially for the ones that lack suitable healthcare providers.
Those who attend on Saturday can get no-cost shots for the flu and other common illnesses.
These include shots for RSV, shingles, tetanus and HPV.
At select locations, free vision checks will also be available as part of the wellness day.
Shoppers will be able to learn about Walmart’s $4 generic prescription program.
Information will be provided about nutrition recommendations, and take-home supplies will be given out while stocks last.
PHARMACY UPGRADES
Walmart has recently expanded its health and wellness offerings in its stores.
Customers can now access a testing treatment service for strep, flu, and COVID-19.
Walmart shoppers can come in, get tested, treated and receive prescriptions for their illnesses often within 30 minutes.
Last year, Walmart launched delivery for its pharmacy products.

In a survey 55% of those asked expressed interest in receiving their prescriptions delivered with their shopping orders.
This was the most requested service by those looking to save time on errands.
By the end of this year, Walmart is aiming to remodel or upgrade nearly 2,000 pharmacy locations.
This upgrade will add health services rooms intended for private or clinical care.
