WENDY’S has finally rolled out a new collab with Takis for a limited time only, and it comes with an unexpected twist for customers.
The new meal is perfect for those who like their food with plenty of kick, but some believe the new addition could “burn a hole” in their stomachs.

Wendy’s is joining up with the snack brand Takis for a whole new dining experience.
The Takis Fuego Meal is only available for a limited time, featuring the Takis fuego chicken sandwich and Takis-inspired fuego fries.
The chicken fillet is topped with Takis fuego chips, making sure to add that extra bit of spice.
This meal also includes chili lime sauce, creamy corn spread and a cheddar cheese sauce.
Wendy’s has said that this is to “create a one-of-a-kind sandwich that is equal parts spicy, crunchy and savory.”
Lindsay Radkoski, U.S. chief marketing officer for Wendy’s, said, “We know how to keep things spicy.
“And we love serving up fresh, famous collaborations that tap into consumers passion points, which made this partnership with Takis a no-brainer.
“By joining forces with such an iconic and beloved snacking brand, we’re turning up the heat and flavor in a way only Wendy’s can.”
The new meal also brings with it a chance for customers to win thousands of dollars in an online game called Spice Invasion.
Available on the app from June to to July 20, the retro arcade game sees players blasting Wendy’s menu items with Takis chips to earn points.
Players have the chance to win prizes and be entered into the grand $10,000 prize draw.
The Spice Invasion game launches the same day the Takis Fuego Meal does.
The new Takis Fuego Meal is available in restaurants across the US starting from Friday, June 20.
The meal then rolls out to Canadian restaurants starting June 30, all offered while supplies last.

On social media, customers have revealed the unexpected twist that Wendy’s classic Frosty flavors can also be turned spicy, too.
Pictures on Facebook show what the meal looks like in person, with bright red power scattered over everything, including the white ice cream.
The Frosty has been covered in the flaming hot power, making for a completely new Wendy’s experience.
The post also reveals a Takis Sprite, which transforms the drink from a clear color into a sinister-looking blood red as the power mixes into the liquid.
With the Takis Fuego Meal, nothing is safe from the spice, and customers are just beginning to realise this.
In the comments, one person wrote: “This looks like it’d burn a hole in my stomach.”
