‘What is wrong with you?’ – The View cast slam ‘Phillies Karen’ after home run ball controversy sparks outrage

A female fan was dubbed “Phillies Karen” by the internet after her antics.

She was beaten to a home run ball by a dad at Miami Marlins’ LoanDepot Park.

And the woman immediately went to confront the dad – who gave the ball to his son.

After a heated back and forth, the father took the ball off his son to give back to the woman.

She marched back to her seat with the souvenir, but also as an instant internet celebrity.

The fan was criticized by social media users.

The incident also made it to ESPN SportsCenter on Friday night.

But this week it continued to spread into other areas of television.

The View also broke down the play, which was captured by NBC Sports Philadelphia.

“Five people were vying for this ball,” Goldberg said.

“He’s the one that got it.

“You’re not entitled to it just because it was in your section.

“What’s wrong with you?”

Hostin also gave her take, saying the female fan was lucky.

She said, “I’m not a proponent of violence or anything, but she’s really lucky that that dad was like, ‘Just go away.’”

“She catches the mom or the wrong person and you’re not getting the ball back.”

Drew Feltwell was the father involved and he gave an interview to Fox News.

“I can’t even repeat that on air. She was very vulgar,” he said.

“Screaming right in my ear that, you know, lotta bad words and, ‘That’s my ball.’

“That was her section and trying to tell me she had the right to that ball.

“The screaming and yelling kinda got to us and I just wanted her to go away. So, that’s how she got the ball.”
