‘What was that?’ – Terry Bradshaw confronts Howie Long on Fox NFL Sunday before being told ‘you’re not helping’

TERRY BRADSHAW had to be reigned in by Fox host Curt Menefee – after nearly derailing an on-air segment.

The Pittsburgh Steelers legend joined Howie Long, Rob Gronkowski and Michael Strahan for Fox NFL Sunday.

Bradshaw and the crew were making their predictions ahead of Week 3.

With time running out on the show, Menefee wanted quick answers to his questions.

But Bradshaw was left baffled as Long failed to live up to his name and gave a simple two word response.

Asked who he’d favor in the matchup between the Cleveland Browns and the Green Bay Packers, Howie curtly replied: “Green Bay.”

“What was that?!” spluttered Bradshaw in response.

“They wanted it quick,” replied a nonplussed Howie.

“But that’s not like you,” Bradshaw argued, only to be talked over by the rest of his colleagues.

“You’re not helping,” an exasperated Menefee interjected, attempting to get the speedy segment back on track.

Bradshaw appeared to then get the memo, predicting a surprise win for the Los Angeles Rams against the Philadelphia Eagles.

A firm fan favorite, Bradshaw has been a mainstay of NFL Sunday since 1994.

Sunday’s interaction with Long wasn’t the only time he had issues with the commercial break.

Bradshaw appeared on Fox’s sister show NFL Kickoff earlier in the day.

During a segment on quarterback Drew Brees, host Charissa Thompson tried to make Bradshaw speed up his delivery.

The camera panned away from the TV stars as Bradshaw said, “I finally get to talk football and you go to break!”

Thompson had her arm around Bradshaw when she called for the commercial.

The 77-year-old recently worried fans after struggling with his mic during a live broadcast.

The four-time Super Bowl champion has two years left on his Fox contract.

Speaking ahead of Super Bowl LIX, Bradshaw said, “I got two years left at FOX. I’m 76.

“If I can get to the next Super Bowl, I’ll be 80. I think that’s time.”
