Who is Andy Byron’s HR chief Kristin Cabot?

But while the CEO of Astronomer has become well-known after the clip surfaced on social media and instantly went viral, little is known about the other person involved.

Who is Kristin Cabot?

In the clip, which would make anyone cringe out of their skin, the AI start-up founder was seen canoodling a woman when the kiss-cam turned to them.

The couple instantly recoiled and hid from sight, with Coldplay frontman Chris Martin wondering whether they were shy or having an affair.

After the internet worked its magic, it became apparent that Coldplay exposed an alleged affair, revealing that the woman was not married to Byron.

The woman was Byron’s HR Chief Kristin Cabot.

Cabot is 56 years old and works for Byron at Astronomer in Boston, where she lives.

Is she married?

It is reported that Cabot is not married, after recently divorcing Kenneth Thornby.

The couple filed for divorce in 2018, and it was then finalised in 2022.

Cabot is a mom of one.

What is Kristin Cabot’s career history?

The 56-year-old mother has only worked at Astronomer for 9 months, having moved from her role as Chief People Officer at software development company Neo4j.

Cabot has over 20 years of experience in Human Resources and has worked for major brands as well as start-ups like Astronomer.

She is a graduate from Gettysburg College in Pennsylvania, where she studied Political Science.

On her LinkedIn, Cabot described herself as “a passionate People leader.”

She said: “[She is] known for building award-winning cultures from the ground up for fast-growing startups and multi-national corporations.

“I lead by example and win trust with employees of all levels, from CEOs to managers to assistants.

“I pride myself on creating innovative systems and processes that attract top talent, while aligning an organization’s people around its mission and values.”

What has happened since the incident?

In the ever-developing drama since the concert, Byron’s company had to come out to deny a ‘fake’ statement which had emerged online, allegedly written by Byron.

The statement said: “I want to acknowledge the moment that’s been circulating online, and the disappointment it’s caused.

“This is not who I want to be or how I want to represent the company I helped build. I’m taking time to reflect, take accountability, and figure out the next steps, personally and professionally. I ask for privacy as I navigate that process.”

Astronomer denied that the claim was from Byron.
