DAVINA McCall is back on the box with her new love-upped, drama-filled, BBC reality show Stranded on Honeymoon Island.

Who is Davina McCall’s partner Michael Douglas?
Michael Douglas was born on May 10, 1974, and is a celebrity hairdresser from Leyland, a town in northwest Lancashire.
After considering being a motorbike mechanic, he committed to hairdressing – though he claims to still be a huge fan of motorbikes.
Michael has been in the London hair industry scene since he was 21 years old, where he started off at Wella.
Seven years later he was promoted to being an expert.
His impressive career has seen him style the hair of some pretty famous faces.
He’s worked on the locks of Johnny Depp, Kate Moss, Sienna Miller and many more.
The charming hairdresser has appeared on TV too, including on The One Show.

Meeting Davina
Davina’s latest hit show, Stranded on Honeymoon Island, is all about getting straight to the point.
After meeting for only five minutes, singletons get married and are sent packing on their honeymoon.
Stranded on six remote, tropical beaches, these six newly formed couples must communicate and collaborate to get by, with nowhere to run when the going gets tough.

Michael started doing Davina McCall’s hair back when her Big Brother career first began.
He was her hairdresser and “therapy” go-to for 20 years before they publicly got together in the summer of 2019, making them great friends first.
Speaking about dating again later in life, and her show My Mum, Your Dad, Davina told The Sun in 2023: “What I like about the show is it’s a nice reminder to society that you don’t give up on intimacy and sex when you’re in your forties, fifties and sixties.
“Actually, they could be the sexiest time of your life, when the baggage of kids is gone, they’ve all flown the nest, and you can actually go for it again!”
Past loves
Both Michael and Davina have been married before and have children separately.
Davina split from husband Matthew Robertson in 2017 and was married to Andrew Leggett from 1997 to 1999.
The Sun reported at the time of their relationship becoming public knowledge that Davina had even met Michael’s children, long before they were an item.
Davina’s brain tumour
In November 2024, the popular presenter told fans she was having an operation for a brain tumour and by her side was her beloved boyfriend, while she was recovering from the surgery.
Alongside her in the emotional video was Michael, who is supporting her in her health battle.
Addressing fans she said: “I’m: “A few months ago, I did a menopause talk for a company and they offered me a health scan in return, which I thought I was gonna ace.
“But it turned out I had a benign brain tumour called a colloid cyst which is very rare.
“Three in a million. So I slightly put my head in the sand.”
Davina added: “I saw quite a few neurosurgeons, I got lots of opinions and I realised that I have to get it taken out.”
She continued: “It’s big for the space. It fills the space. It’s 14mm wide and it needs to come out, because if it grows, it would be bad.
“So I’m having it removed via a craniotomy.
“They go through the top of my head here and through the two halves of my brain to the middle, and get the cyst, take it out, empty it, take it out and Bob’s your uncle.”
The Long Lost Family host shared that she was in “good spirits” but also asked fans for their support: “So say a prayer for me.”
