Taylor announced the engagement in a shock social media post on Tuesday, August 26 2025, with the third picture showcasing her bejewelled finger.
And it did not take long for the internet to find out everything regarding her latest piece of jewelry.
It is a large cushion-cut diamond as wide as Swift’s finger encased in a beautiful gold band.
It has been identified as an Old Mine Brilliant cut diamond from jewelry designer Kindred Lubeck.
The ring’s price is still unknown, but rings on Lubeck’s online shop, Artifex Fine Jewelry, start at $4,300 and skyrocket up to $38,300.
But who is the lucky designer who has had the privilege to make what is the most anticipated engagement ring in modern memory?
Who is Kindred Lubeck?
Kindred Lubeck is the daughter of master goldsmith Jay Lubeck, who is based in Neptune Beach, Florida.
Kindred started in the family business in October 2019 and began to take a more active role in early 2020 after the COVID-19 pandemic began.
At first, Kindred worked on silver pieces, but eventually she transitioned to gold like her father, and after sharing her pieces on social media, she received requests for engagement rings.
From there, her success soared, and Kindred opened her own jewelry shop, Artifex Fine Jewelry, in June 2024 in New York.
Kindred shared that her “jewelry idol” is Kent Raible, a silver and goldsmith who has been crafting jewelry since 1971.
Raible is known for his intricate detailing and incorporation of gold granulation throughout his pieces.
And so with a speciality of hand engraving, Kindred boasts an impressive 260,000 followers on TikTok and has clearly caught the eye of the world’s most famous couple.
How did Travis Kelce propose to Taylor Swift?
Engagement rumors had swirled for months before Travis finally got down on one knee.
Travis is understood to have been eyeing diamond engagement rings worth hundreds of thousands for months.
The historic moment took place in a romantic garden filled with pink and white florals and greenery.
The location seemed perfect with a wrought iron arched gazebo wrapped in vines, with a chandelier hanging from the center.
The couple kept it simple and low-key with Taylor wearing a Polo Ralph Lauren dress with Louis Vuitton shoes for the proposal, coupled with her Cartier watch.
Kelce went low-key, wearing brown loafers, grey shorts, and a black polo.
The proposal came after Kelce spent most of his time in the offseason by Swift’s side.
