JANNIK SINNER is just two wins away from lifting his first-ever Wimbledon title – but he may have to do it with an elbow sleeve.
The World No1 eased past American representative Ben Shelton in his final eight tie.

And Sinner now faces a tough semi-final encounter against Novak Djokovic.
But the Italian icon may have a slight disadvantage as he’ll be playing with what seems to be an elbow sleeve.
Why is Jannik Sinner wearing an elbow sleeve?
Sinner took a heavy tumble very early on in his Grigor Dimitrov match on Centre Court and hurt his elbow.
He received treatment during a medical time-out during the second set.
And the Australian Open and US Open champion was spotted with ice strapped to his arm after the victory before conducting his media duties.
Sinner – who ironically axed his physiotherapist and trainer on the eve of Wimbledon – revealed he will have to be checked over today to ensure there is no significant damage.

What has Sinner said?
The World No1 further explained his injury after the Dimitrov encounter.
Sinner said: “It happened very early in the match, first game. It was quite an unfortunate fall.
“I have checked the videos a little bit, and it didn’t seem a tough one, but I still felt it quite a lot, especially on the serve and forehand.
“I could feel it.
“So let’s see. Tomorrow we are going to check to see how it is, and then we see.
“Here they have good ATP physios, in any case. The doctors are good.
“As I said, tomorrow we are going to check with MRI to see if there’s something serious, and then we try to adjust it.”
