Today’s episode begins with Maira asking Abhira if she can forgive Armaan now and marry him again. Abhira makes Maira understand that her and Armaan’s lives are different now and getting together is impossible. Abhira makes Maira sleep and sees Armaan’s name on her phone, secretly missing him. Maira questions her, but Abhira makes her sleep. The next day, Maira makes an effort for Abhira and brings her breakfast to make her happy.
Anshuman meets Armaan to tell him that, although he will be living with her, Maira will always be Armaan’s daughter. Anshuman assures Armaan that he won’t try to take Maira’s father’s place. However, Armaan gets emotional and shares Maira’s habits, explaining that now he will live with her and become a father figure for her.
The next day, Abhira wakes up happy with Maira by her side. But in every conversation, Maira’s habit of mentioning Armaan’s name triggers Abhira. She pines for Armaan but refuses to accept it. Vidya calls Abhira and asks if there is a chance for her and Armaan to get together. But Armaan stops Vidya, telling her not to force Abhira with anything. Vidya then invites Abhira to join the Dahi Handi celebration; however, Abhira refuses, citing Maira, and Abhir will only join.
Later, Anshuman comes to Abhira’s house and meets Maira. Maira and Anshuman decorate the house for the Dahi Handi celebration. Anshuman asks Maira why she is preparing here, as the celebration is at the Poddar house. Maira emphasizes that Abhira is not going, and she won’t either, because she wants to make Abhira happy. Anshuman asks Maira if she misses Armaan, and she accepts but asks to keep it secret from Abhira.
At Poddar house, celebrations begin while Armaan tells Vidya that with Abhira, Maira also might not come. Meanwhile, someone throws a flower on Kaveri, and she screams. Abhira and Anshuman make their entry disguised as a milkman, while Maira hits Kaveri with flowers, hiding in a corner, and thus enlightens the moment.
