Today’s episode begins with Anshuman asking Abhira (Samridhii Shukla) to listen to her heart and the name it takes. Abhira takes Armaan’s name, but she looked worried. Anshuman tells her that he knows she is marrying him to keep her promise, sacrificing her happiness, but today he frees her from all the bonds and wishes to stay as her friend. Abhira gets emotional and hugs him. Abhira and Anshuman’s emotional conversation, Armaan oversees and mistakes their bond as marriage.
Armaan is left heartbroken while Kaveri, Krish, and Taniya try to understand where Abhira and Anshuman have gone. Meanwhile, Anshuman calls Taniya, telling her that he and Abhira are not getting married. Armaan comes home and shares the news of losing Abhira forever. As he breaks down, Manoj, Kajol, Manisha, and Sanjay console him. Meanwhile, Degambar calls Sanjay asking about Geetanjali’s whereabouts.
Degambar faces a heart issue as he discovers that Geetanjali has not come to meet Armaan. Kiara shouts at Maira for being careless, and Abhir becomes suspicious of her behaviour. Armaan goes to find missing Geetanjali. Anshuman asks Abhira to express her feelings to Armaan, while Geetanjali comes to the Goenka house and hugs Maira.
