‘You can tell who QB1 is’ – NFL fans spot subtle detail in Browns practice footage that hints at Shedeur Sanders future

NFL fans are claiming Shedeur Sanders is the future of the Cleveland Browns after he won praise in practice.

Some were surprised he was picked that late given his impressive performances at college level, with Cleveland even picking another quarter-back ahead of him – Dillon Gabriel.

But fans are growing more confident Sanders will be the future of the franchise after making a promising start to life in Ohio.

Sanders joined up with his new team for training camps during the off-season, and he has hit the ground running.

He has impressed his team-mates and coaches alike with his pinpoint throwing accuracy.

During one session a Browns coach approached Sanders and said, “Your placement is just outstanding. If only we could get a tight end to catch it at some point.”

Sander chuckled, replying: “Just throw it up to me.”

Fans feel it is a sign Sanders could play an important role for the Browns, and if not this season then in years to come.

One reacted saying: “He’s their starter. Lot of folks going to look real foolish.”

Another added: “If his own team-mates are alrady loving him like this. You know he will be the future in a matter of time.”

A third wrote: “This could actually end up working out for the browns. If he doesn’t start week one, I think he’ll be the starter by the end of the season.”

And another commented: “You can tell who QB1 is.”

Sanders has plenty of competition with Joe Flacco expected to line up for the Browns on the opening day of the season.

Gabriel and Kenny Pickett will then fight Sanders for the No2 berth.

But it is a challenge Sanders is looking forward to and one team-mate has been full of praise.

“He’s been amazing,” cornerback Greg Newsome said.

“A sponge. It’s just crazy a guy this young with this much notoriety can just handle media and things like that.”

Sanders said of his relationships with the other quarter-backs: “I joke with Joe all the time, every day I see him.

“Kenny, he had his experiences throughout his career overall. So, we just share a lot of the same things.

“And Dillon, of course, we’re the same age group.

“You know, those guys are older, so me and Dillon, we’re the same age group, so we just talk about experiences, you know, just in college and everything so far.”
