He is a supporter of the Philadelphia Eagles and posted a Super Bowl reference.
The Eagles beat the Chiefs 40-22 at the Superdome in New Orleans, Louisiana in February.
The win for Philadelphia dashed Kansas City’s hopes of a historic three-peat.
And Bryan posted on X on August 8, “Where are all the three peat people from last year?”
The message then sparked a feud with fans which has rumbled for days.
One replied to him, “Talking s*** in general is all good.
“He’s singled out one fanbase. That same fanbase that sells out his shows.”
But Bryan then promised, “Please understand I will never play in Kansas City.”
The 29-year-old performed in the region as recently as August 20 last year.
He played at the city’s T-Mobile Center as part of his 2024 nationwide tour.
His 2023 date at the same venue on August 31 drew an arena record attendance of 19,655.
But Bryan continued his online posts about the Chiefs.
He said, “I’ll be about to finish my show and then get a taunting call if I play at that stadium.”
The 29-year-old was apparently referencing the Chiefs’ Arrowhead Stadium home.
And he went a step further with a message seemingly about Kansas City receiving favorable calls from officials.
A fan said to him, “Looks like it doesn’t take long to p*** off Chiefs fan.
“They act like they have it hard there lmao.”
And Bryan replied, “Bro all u have to do to piss off a chiefs fan is play a fair game of football.”
The 29-year-old then tried to calm the feud.
He posted, “Guys it’s okay to talk trash to each other about football, y’all are weird as hell.”
