Zelensky gives frightening warning to warmongering Putin officials after winning Trump’s support: ‘Find a bomb shelter’

VOLODYMYR Zelensky has fiercely warned Vladimir Putin’s cronies to “find a bomb shelter” in the wake of Donald Trump’s full-throated support.

The brave leader has been emboldened by Trump’s pledge that Ukraine can win back “all of its territory”, and is taking the fight the Russia with renewed vigour.

Zelensky told Axios: “They have to know where the bomb shelters are.

“They need it. If they will not stop the war, they will need it in any case.”

But he noted that his forces would only target Kremlin officials and not civilians, because “we are not terrorists” – unlike Russia, he implies.

Zelensky continued: “They have to know that we in Ukraine, each day, we will answer. If they attack us, we will answer them.”

Former Russian President Dmitry Medvedev, who is deputy chairman of Russia’s Security Council, was quick to respond to Zelensky’s taunts.

“Russia could use weapons that a bomb shelter wouldn’t protect against. And the Americans should remember this,” he wrote on X.

Zelensky’s all-guns-blazing threat came after Trump’s support swung dramatically towards of Ukraine – to the fury of the Kremlin.

The President backed Ukraine to take all its land back from Russia – which he called a “paper tiger” – and said his previous dealings with Putin “didn’t mean anything”.

In a rallying Truth Social post, he wrote: “I think Ukraine, with the support of the European Union, is in a position to fight and WIN all of Ukraine back in its original form.

“Ukraine would be able to take back their Country in its original form and, who knows, maybe even go further than that!”

At a press conference after a bilateral meeting, Zelensky revealed Trump would give Ukraine security guarantees once the war ends.

Zelensky said Trump’s latest statement on the Ukraine war is a “big shift” from his earlier stance that Kyiv would have to give up territory for peace.

And his latest comments show how Trump’s support has put the wind right back in his sails.

The Kremlin, unsurprisingly, was fuming to learn that Trump had deserted them – and promptly levelled insane revenge threats.

Three of Putin’s public mouthpieces hurled insults at the American president following his shock pivot.

Amid Russian politicians pushing Putin to release nuclear weapons on the West, one advisor said it would be a “terrible sin” to not do so.

The sinister words came from Sergei Karaganov – also known as Professor Doomsday.

Experts revealed how Trump’s new vision for the endgame – total victory for Ukraine – could become a reality.

Hamish de-Bretton Gordon said the key is for Ukraine to hammer those areas where it has been hurting Russia, and for the West to enable it to do so.

He told The Sun: “Ukraine’s deep operations informed by the Secret Service and Special Forces are having a real impact inside Russia.

“About 20 percent of the Russian oil industry has been severely damaged by these deep strikes.

“This has hit hard Russia’s ability to produced petrol for cars – fuel is in very short supply.”

In the most recent episode of Battle Plans Exposed, Philip Ingram told us that Ukraine is fighting an “oil war”.

He said: “It’s a highly strategic, calculated campaign to cripple the engine of Putin’s war.”

De-Bretton Gordon explained: “What America could do, what the West could do, is enable more of this from Ukraine.”

This would further hobble one of Putin’s most important income pipelines – and limit what he could pump into his war chest.

The defence expert said that Western precision-guided and long-range missiles would considerably sharpen Ukraine’s teeth in targeting Russia’s oil infrastructure.

The UK has sent Storm Shadow missiles to Ukraine, but for a long time restricted how Kyiv could deploy them.

Advocates want Europe to go further and faster – with Boris Johnson yesterday slamming Germany for not offering up its Taurus cruise missiles.

De-Bretton Gordon also called for a “no-fly zone on Western Ukraine” in order to “prevent Russian drones and missiles attacking civilian targets”.

That would also have a “huge psychological impact” on Russians, who would be dismayed to see all their aerial attacks downed.

He said countries like the UK, with our F-35 fighter jets stationed in Poland, could manage this without even straying into Ukrainian airspace.

De-Bretton Gordon added that Nato nations can also help the war effort on their own soil by shooting down any Russian jets that stray onto their territory.

Boris Johnson, the UK’s former Prime Minister and a passionate advocate for Ukraine, echoes Trump’s conviction of victory and has now also spelled out the necessary steps.

He said on Tuesday: “The Ukrainians, my friends, are going to win. Ukraine will win. This is a war for independence. They are fighting for their land, they are fighting for their statehood.”

Analysis: Trump’s dizzying corkscrews

By Jerome Starkey, Defence Editor

DONALD Trump doesn’t do U-Turns. He does rollercoaster loop-the-loops.

So with all his dizzying corkscrew turns and sudden policy swerves there is every risk he ends up back where he began – sucking up to tyrant Vladimir Putin and scorning President Volodymyr Zelensky.

Before Ukraine shows any relief at Trump’s sudden, full-throated support they will want to see concrete action.

That means weapons without restrictions for Kyiv and penalties for Moscow. Sanctions must hurt the Kremlin and threaten Putin’s rule.

Otherwise it’s just hot air.

It wasn’t so long ago Trump hailed Putin a “genius”. He rolled out the red carpet in Alaska last month.

He said Zelensky had “no cards”.

Now he claims Russia is on the brink of collapse, Putin’s army is a “paper tiger” and he is backing a Ukraine win – to retake all its territory and, in his words, “maybe even go further”.

That would mean conquering parts of Russia – something Ukraine has never sought.

What is behind this change of heart? A state visit to Britain, perhaps.

In between the pomp and parades Trump will have heard the MI6 view that “Putin is stringing us along”.

Spy chief Sir Richard Moore – who sees all the most secret reports on Putin’s real intentions – gave a speech the day after Trump’s visit and said: “I have seen absolutely no evidence that President Putin has any interest in a negotiated peace short of Ukrainian capitulation.”
