Zion Williamson shows off incredible body transformation ahead of NBA season – ‘haven’t felt like this since college’

NEW ORLEANS PELICANS star Zion Williamson is enjoying a stunning body transformation.

Williamson, 25, used to be one of the most promising prospects and was the No1 overall Draft pick back in 2019 when he was picked up by the Pelicans.

Williamson adopted a strict training regimen

However, the power forward has yet to realize his full potential in the NBA with New Orleans.

The former Duke star had been stricken by injury and weight problems throughout his six-year professional career.

But it seems like Williamson has finally turned a corner as he adopted a strikingly good shape.

The North Carolina native spent his summer in an intense conditioning program.

That was after Williamson suffered a serous hamstring injury that limited him to just 30 games last season.

The basketball star embarked on a strict training regimen prescribed by trainer Daniel Bove to address his fluctuating weight and consistent injuries.

His training consisted of boxing workouts as well as drill run on football fields.

Williamson said: “I really felt a shift in my body.

“I haven’t felt like this since college, high school, just where I can walk into a gym and I feel good.

“Whatever my team needs, that’s what I’ll do.”

The Pelicans are back in action on October 15 as they get their preseason underway in a match against the Houston Rockets at Legacy Arena.
